Eric Robison (Location - Hawaii)
Eric Robison’s colorful paintings have crossed international borders in the form of Limited edition lithographs, posters, and originals. Robison has a natural inclination to capture elements of tradition and twist them into an eclectic expression of visual imagery. His method of creativity is aggressive and bold. He began his career as an artist in 1987 when he was hired by Walt Disney Imagineering as a concept designer. While he was there he worked on Euro Disneyland, Paris; Tokyo Disneyland; Walt Disney World, Florida, and of course Disneyland, California.
Since then he has become a best selling artist in Disney’s theme parks, galleries and stores. Robison’s art and design reached International awareness when his 100 Mickey Mouse portraits for Disneyland’s 100th birthday of Walt Disney broke records; selling out in 40 days. His “one man - 100 paintings” exhibit continues to be featured in Disney Hotels, Museums, magazines, journals, books, and merchandise. This was followed up by Disney asking Robison to paint the 50 year history of Disneyland. This visual documentation made history in and of itself as it is the only “painted documentation” of its kind.
His commercial talents have taken to a 19 year stay with the Walt Disney Company, as well as a consultant for MCA Universal Studios, Warner Bros, the Olympics and the Entertainment/film industry.
